MAGIECHEM® 169 is a solvent-based urethane-modified acrylic concrete cure and seal formulated to provide durable protection and aesthetic enhancement for concrete, masonry, and other porous mineral substrates. MAGIECHEM® 169 combines the flexibility and adhesion of urethane-modified polymers with the ultraviolet resistance and clarity of acrylic technology to deliver long-lasting surface protection.
MAGIECHEM® 169 penetrates deeply into the concrete matrix while forming a protective surface film that resists weathering, light staining, abrasion, and surface dusting. This dual-action performance allows MAGIECHEM® 169 to protect concrete surfaces while preserving the decorative appearance of stamped, colored, or architectural concrete finishes.
When applied to freshly placed concrete, MAGIECHEM® 169 acts as an effective curing compound, reducing moisture loss during the hydration process and minimizing the risk of plastic shrinkage cracking. On hardened concrete, MAGIECHEM® 169 functions as a durable protective sealer that enhances surface durability and resistance to environmental exposure.
MAGIECHEM® 169 provides excellent resistance to ultraviolet exposure, freeze–thaw cycles, light chemicals, and moderate pedestrian traffic. The formulation is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, offering reliable performance in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments.
MAGIECHEM® 169 is available in clear or pigmented versions, allowing the product to either preserve the natural appearance of concrete or provide color enhancement and surface uniformity. MAGIECHEM® 169 is commonly used on decorative concrete, stamped concrete, interlocking pavers, sidewalks, driveways, terraces, and architectural concrete surfaces.
MAGIECHEM® 169 may also be used as a maintenance sealer or protective finishing layer within MAGIEFLOOR™ flooring systems, extending the service life of previously protected concrete surfaces.
