MAGIECHEM® 421 UV

MAGIECHEM® 421 Water-Based Polyurethane Coating is a clear protective finish formulated using hybrid polymer technology combining an amino-ester emulsion with aliphatic polyurethane crosslinking chemistry. This formulation produces a flexible and durable protective film specifically designed for finishing epoxy flooring systems used in institutional, commercial, and light industrial environments.

The coating incorporates UV blocker technology that helps prevent ultraviolet radiation from degrading the coating surface and the underlying resin layers. This characteristic contributes to maintaining color stability and reducing yellowing commonly associated with interior lighting exposure and semi-exposed environments.

MAGIECHEM® 421 Water-Based Polyurethane Coating is engineered to provide a uniform finishing layer that protects underlying resin coatings while maintaining stable surface appearance and long-term durability. Its water-based formulation allows installation in sensitive environments where solvent emissions and strong odors must be minimized, including healthcare facilities, educational buildings, and occupied commercial spaces.

The coating forms a continuous protective film providing good abrasion resistance and surface durability, helping extend the service life of epoxy flooring systems. The formulation also resists humidity, ambient condensation, and common cleaning procedures typically encountered in institutional and commercial environments.

MAGIECHEM® 421 Water-Based Polyurethane Coating can be applied over decorative quartz systems, vinyl flake flooring, metallic coatings, and monochromatic epoxy systems within MAGIEFLOOR™ installations. The coating is available in gloss, satin, and matte finishes and may be combined with anti-slip aggregates when additional traction performance is required.
