MAGIECHEM® 94-VO

MAGIECHEM® 94-VO is a two-component, 100% solids fire retardant epoxy coating engineered to reduce flame propagation and improve fire safety in environments where fire control and occupant protection are critical. MAGIECHEM® 94-VO is solvent-free, low odor, and formulated to release no toxic smoke or hazardous gases during combustion, while complying with stringent fire-safety performance standards including UL 94 V-0 classification.

Once cured, MAGIECHEM® 94-VO forms an extremely dense, seamless, ceramic-like protective surface combining high mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and controlled flexibility. This structure helps delay the spread of flames across coated surfaces, contributing to improved containment of fire events and increased evacuation time in emergency situations.

MAGIECHEM® 94-VO is specifically designed for high-risk indoor environments where controlling or slowing fire propagation is essential. Typical applications include mining operations, hazardous industrial facilities, chemical processing plants, data centers, healthcare institutions, hospitals, senior residences, rehabilitation centers, and facilities for elderly or disabled occupants, where strict fire safety standards are required.

MAGIECHEM® 94-VO is also well suited for installations in explosion-risk environments or facilities containing combustible materials, where limiting surface flame spread can significantly improve overall operational safety.

MAGIECHEM® 94-VO provides strong adhesion to properly prepared substrates and may be applied as a primer, base coat, or finishing layer within MAGIEFLOOR™ multilayer systems. The system can be used as a smooth protective coating or combined with dry quartz aggregates to increase mechanical resistance and create anti-slip textures for industrial flooring.
