MAGIECHEM® 9802

MAGIECHEM® 9802 is a two-component, high-performance, 100% solids, solvent-free hybrid coating formulated with specially modified epoxy and urethane technology to provide controlled flexibility and long-term durability in demanding environments. The formulation combines impermeability, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance while maintaining durable adhesion to concrete, wood, and primed metallic substrates.

This Hybrid Flexible Epoxy coating is designed for surfaces exposed to structural movement, vibration, and dynamic stresses. Its flexible hybrid structure allows the coating to absorb substrate movement, reducing the risk of cracking, delamination, and premature system failure. These properties make it suitable for parking structures, ramps, tight traffic curves, and substrates subject to expansion and contraction.

MAGIECHEM® 9802 provides an optimized balance between flexibility and mechanical resistance without compromising surface performance or wear resistance. It can be used alone or combined with dry quartz aggregates to increase mechanical durability, slip resistance, and system thickness. The coating can also be used as a primer, base coat, or wear coat depending on the MAGIEFLOOR™ or MAGIEDECK™ system configuration.

It’s controlled rheology allows uniform application and continuous film formation over large areas. This Hybrid Epoxy-Polyurethane coating is suitable for environments exposed to automotive fluids, repeated traffic, and frequent maintenance cycles, while maintaining dimensional stability and long-term performance.

Specialized versions are available to address specific application and performance requirements. Textured versions can be formulated to improve slip resistance, while high-flexibility or movement-tolerant configurations can be adapted depending on project conditions and system design.
