MAGIECHEM® 565

MAGIECHEM® 565 is a 100% solids epoxy primer for oil contaminated concrete designed to penetrate deeply into contaminated substrates and restore reliable adhesion for industrial flooring systems. MAGIECHEM® 565 is specifically engineered to restore adhesion on concrete surfaces contaminated by petroleum products, lubricants, grease, and other hydrocarbons commonly present in industrial environments.

The advanced epoxy formulation of MAGIECHEM® 565 allows the primer to penetrate deeply into the capillary structure of concrete while stabilizing contaminated substrates. Through controlled chemical interaction and multiple crosslinking mechanisms, MAGIECHEM® 565 neutralizes the adverse effects of oil contamination and creates a stable bonding surface for subsequent coating systems.

MAGIECHEM® 565 exhibits ultra-low viscosity and excellent wetting properties, allowing the primer to infiltrate porous and contaminated concrete surfaces where conventional primers typically fail. MAGIECHEM® 565 effectively eliminates common application defects such as bubbles, fish eyes, craters, and adhesion loss frequently observed when coatings are applied over contaminated concrete slabs.

MAGIECHEM® 565 is also designed to function as a permanent vapor-barrier layer, significantly reducing moisture vapor transmission through concrete substrates. This capability helps prevent blistering, delamination, and coating failures in high-build flooring systems installed over damp or contaminated slabs.

MAGIECHEM® 565 is particularly suitable for industrial rehabilitation projects where existing concrete slabs have been exposed to oils, lubricants, or hydrocarbons.
